Penleigh & Essendon Grammar School

Having undertaken a Master Plan for the redevelopment of PEGS Moonee Ponds Junior Girl’s Campus, McIldowie Partners have now completed the major refurbishment of two existing buildings.

This projects involved the complete renovation and repurposing of a robust, but outdated 1920’s building to produce light, spacious and colourful teaching and breakout spaces.

The works addressed not only major changes in pedagogy but also disabled access, thermal performance, state of the art audio visual, interaction between classrooms and play spaces and student amenities.
