King's College Masterplan 

King’s College is an outstanding independent secondary school based in Auckland New Zealand, which takes great pride in its all-round education for boys and girls.

McIldowie Partners in association with Upton Architects were asked to assist with the Master Plan process. We have independently considered the aspirations and needs of the College, as discussed with Headmaster, Mr Simon Lamb and reviewed with Chairman Mr. Ross Green. It has been an abridged consultation process, but a consistent and logical approach has produced a draft Master Plan for review by the Board of Governors aimed to harness all the potential for improved learning and facility upgrades for this day and boarding house school.

We have achieved significant landmark statements for the College on the tree lined crescent shaped edge of the prized ovals, all underpinned by the importance of an all-round-education.
