Wendouree Centre for the Performing Arts

WCPA opened in 2008 and was developed in partnership between Ballarat Grammar and the wider Ballarat Community.  It seeks to showcase excellence and to enrich the cultural and artistic life of Ballarat and Western Victoria.

With flexible seating configurations for 350, 600, 900 and on special occasions 1100, the Centre is entirely cooled by a natural ventilation system through a labyrinth constructed under the Auditorium that uses 3% of the energy of a traditional air conditioning system.

With exceptional acoustics, WCPA is also a preferred venue for visiting and local performers across multiple art forms.
